Stories
That Move
You.
The best stories don’t just entertain. They move people: to laugh, to cry, to think, to trust, to click, to act. That’s the power of great storytelling.
Skip the
homework.
Two fields. We’ll call you back this week.
“Marks Media has been a part of our team for over 20 years. Our success is directly related to what they’ve done for us over the years.”
Creative without the chaos.
The idea comes first.
Before a camera comes out, we find the story worth telling: the one thing about your business worth ninety seconds of someone’s attention. Great footage of the wrong idea is wasted.
A crew that's done this.
Direction, lighting, sound and camera, handled by the crew behind more than 1,700 video stories. The day runs on schedule and the footage looks like your business at its best.
Cut to get results.
The edit is where the story lands. We cut for attention and for action: a version for the site, one for social, one for the room where the deal gets closed.
Made for every channel.
One shoot, delivered for broadcast, web, social and internal use. Each cut is sized for where your audience actually watches, not one file you have to wrestle.
Video questions,
answered.
Anyone can shoot footage. We've told more than 1,700 video stories, so we start with the idea and the outcome (what this video is supposed to do) and build the shoot around that. You get a story that works, not just clips that look nice.
That's the first conversation. We figure out what the story is and where it needs to live (a hero film for the homepage, a recruiting piece, social cutdowns, an internal training series) before we talk about cameras. The format follows the goal.
Yes, especially if we built your brand. Video is one discipline under the same roof as branding, web and design, so the look, voice and message stay consistent instead of drifting between vendors.
We handle it end to end: concept, script, crew, locations, direction and post. You show up, be yourself and approve the cut. We've run enough shoot days to keep yours on schedule.
That's how we plan it. We capture with broadcast, web, social and internal use in mind, then deliver the right cuts and formats for each, so a single production day feeds every channel instead of one post.
Yes. Scripting is part of the job, and we direct on set, especially for owners and staff who aren't actors. Most people are nervous for the first ten minutes; our job is to get the real you on camera.
It depends on scope. A focused single film moves quickly; a multi-format content shoot takes longer to plan and edit. We set the timeline and the approval gates (concept, script, footage, cut) before we start.
It's quoted in writing and scoped to the production. Crew size, shoot days, locations and the number of deliverables all factor in. We price to the story you're telling and agree it before anyone rolls.
Marks Media has five offices: St. Joseph, Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago and Nashville. Tell us where your story happens and we'll plan the shoot around it.
